# Uzbekistan entry requirements overview

> 90+ countries visa-free for 30 days (including US, EU, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan). Others eligible for a $20 e-visa at e-visa.gov.uz. Check /visa/<your-country> for specifics.

As of 2026, Uzbekistan has one of the most liberal visa regimes in Central Asia.

**Visa-free (30 days, no application needed)**:
- All EU countries
- United States (from 1 Jan 2026)
- United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
- Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia
- Israel, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan
- China (from 1 Jun 2025)
- All CIS states (unlimited)
- Plus ~30 more countries (see /visa for the full list)

**e-Visa ($20, ~3 business days)**:
- India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka
- Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam (conditional)
- South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt
- Iran, Morocco, Tunisia
- Most Latin American countries not on the visa-free list
- Apply at e-visa.gov.uz

**Consular visa required**:
- Afghanistan, some conflict-affected states
- North Korea

**At the border**:
- Valid passport (6 months recommended)
- Return or onward ticket
- Migration card (given at immigration)
- Registration within 3 working days (hotels handle automatically)
